Richard Lockley, Administrator and Communications, Bridge Builders

I joined Bridge Builders as Administrator in May 2021 having worked as Synod Clerk for the West Midlands URC and for the Methodist Church in my hometown of Wolverhampton. I was introduced to the work of Bridge Builders while I was working for the Iona Community as resident musician and began to realise what a difference it would make to the church if everyone was trained in conflict resolution and reconciliation so when the opportunity came along to work for them, I jumped at it and here I am. I work on a part-time basis, responding to emails and organising and advertising training courses, making sure that everything runs smoothly. I look forward to working with Bridge Builders in the future to see how as an organisation, we can help churches to be more proactive in their work of peace and reconciliation.
