Colin joined the Bridge Builders staff in 2005, taking up the new post of Assistant Director. Based in Durham, his role includes leading training courses and workshops, and providing consultancy, facilitation and mediation services. He has a particular focus on serving the northern half of England, and Scotland. He assists Colin Moulds (Executive Director) with strategic development.

Colin worships at St. Nicholas’ Church in Durham, where he is a licensed minister, and is also an associate of the Northumbria Community. A former secondary school teacher, he was ordained in 1987 and served curacies in Anglican parishes in Blackburn and Darlington. Before joining the staff of Bridge Builders, he was for 12 years a training officer in the Diocese of Durham.

Husband of Rosie and father of grown-up sons (Jonathan and Campbell), Colin enjoys making music, composing songs for worship, walking and board-games. He hopes one day to write children’s stories and read them to his grandson, Samuel.
